1. Understanding the Terms
Welcome to ZephyrDIY. By accessing our Pacific Street facility in New York or using our online resources, you're agreeing to follow these rules. We've built this community on mutual respect for tools, talent, and time.
Have you reviewed the specific requirements for your equipment rental yet? It's essential. Failure to comply with these terms may result in restricted access to our New York workshops or material sales.
2. Tool & Equipment Rentals
Our tools are high-performance assets. We expect them to return in the condition they left. Renters must demonstrate basic proficiency before taking specialized machinery off-site.
Late returns affect the whole DIY community. We charge a standard daily rate plus a 15% surcharge for overdue equipment. It's only fair. Our team maintains every saw, drill, and sander to professional standards—please treat them as your own.
3. On-Site Support & Workshops
Safety isn't optional at ZephyrDIY. Participation in our DIY project workshops requires specific personal protective equipment (PPE). We provide it, you wear it. Simple.
Our custom design consultations are collaborative. While we provide the expertise, final structural decisions rest with the project owner. Why take risks? We highly recommend following all local New York building codes for your home improvements.
4. Limitation of Liability
DIY involves inherent risks. ZephyrDIY provides the tools and the knowledge, but we don't swing the hammer for you. We are not liable for incidental damage to your property during the execution of projects discussed in our consultations.
Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service or rental provided. We're here to help, but we're not your general contractor. Let's build something great—safely.
